Get moving with campus recreation programs
OSU offers many opportunities to explore nature through recreational programs. Many rec sports facilities are located right near the campus residence halls.
Intramural Sports is one of the most popular extracurricular activities offered on campus. Getting involved in the program is a great way to be active, meet new people and have some fun!
The Intramural Sports program allows students to participate in over 50 sport leagues and tournaments annually. The Dixon Recreation Center, McAlexander Fieldhouse, Stevens Natatorium, Student Legacy Park and Peavey Sports Fields offer a wide variety of options to stay healthy and manage stress, including:
- Comprehensive fitness center
- Full-service locker rooms + gender-inclusive changing rooms and restroom
- Bike and ski shop
- Challenge course — high ropes elements and low elements
- Climbing walls
- Pools — lap pools, deep-water pool, hot tub, sauna
- Tracks

The student-run Sport Clubs offer students a plethora of recreational, social, and competitive opportunities for any skill level, with 40 sports options, from Bass Fishing to Tae Kwon Do to Ultimate Disc.
